I knew I wanted to be a musician when... I was three years old singing songs everyday all day. So many people would request to hear me sing. I felt it in my heart that this was part of my calling. Also my grandmother told me that one day I will inspire and touch many with my gift and be televised to reach the masses.
Your sound and approach to music: My sound is very unique and I've been compared to the old greats and the presently established artists, yet I maintain my own identity. Music is a message of life, telling stories and being able to touch someone through my delivery of lyrics.
Your teaching approach: In order to be a great teacher, you must be a good student as well. You can learn so much from others about life and yourself.
It is always nice to be important, but it is more important to be nice.
