About Me

I completed my undergraduate degree in music at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2011 and since then he has been working consistently as a freelance upright bassist most notably as a member of the 'Demian' and co-founder of 'Bat Country'. I studied under a number of notable Australian double bass players including Fank Di Sario, Tamara Murphy, Ben Roberston, Anitia Houstas and Ben Hanlon. In 2014 I completed my honours year at the VCA. I am a published academic writer and music critique. My intention is to draw readers attention to under-recognised creative and innovative contemporary music through critical analyse.
